If 2022’s "Collision" EP was about finding a voice after loss, then Sweetie’s follow up "Punch the Shark" explores the ferocious power of resurrection. "Punch the Shark" pulls the Sydney four piece towards the grisly end of their flagship devo-country-punk style, and draws on influences from early riot grrls like The Slits as well as lo-fi grunge rock icons PJ Harvey and The White Stripes.

Recorded and co-produced with Party Dozen’s Jonathan Boulet, over one weekend on the south coast, Sweetie’s sophomore EP captures all the energy and intensity of the band’s incredible live show.
